Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cooking fat (tallow, butter, ghee)
  • 12 ounces ground beef
  • 3 small eggs

Directions

  • Divide the ground beef into three 4-ounce portions and shape them into patties with a hole in the center.
  • Heat a skillet over high heat and add the cooking fat of your choice.
  • Place the meat patties on the skillet and cook until browned, about 3 minutes per side.
  • Crack open the eggs and gently pour them into the center of each meat patty.
  • Cook until the egg whites set.
